I am a poet, translator, blogger, researcher and English-language tutor, born in the UK and now based in Recife, Brazil. I hold a BA in Theology, a Master’s degree in Modern Languages and a Doctorate in Sociology. Apart from poetry, my research and writing interests primarily concern the intersection of political discourse/ideology, culture, and language. I am a strong supporter of left-wing/libertarian politics, national independence movements, cultural and social diversity and innovation, and the Christian faith.
