I am a poet, translator, blogger, researcher and English-language tutor, born in the UK and now based in Recife, Brazil. Apart from poetry, teaching and translation, my research and writing interests primarily concern the intersection of political discourse/ideology, culture, and language. I am a strong supporter progressive/libertarian causes, national liberation movements, cultural and social diversity, and the Christian faith.
